A COFFEE SHOP THAT TURNS INTO A DAYLIGHT STUDIO
A woman with Carinthian roots who has fulfilled her childhood dreams turned her passion for professional flower picking into a career. Moreover, Margrit clearly has a knack for creating something great and unique out of “nothing.” When most people hear the word “flower shop,” they think of cluttered greenhouses, garden hoses lying around, and intense smells. At the latest, when hearing the word “greenhouse,” – I rather thought of a botanical garden rather than a stylish café.
The location called “Vom Hügel,” as the name clearly suggests, sits on a hill, somewhere in the middle of nowhere near Gleisdorf. On top of it stands a greenhouse that makes photographic dreams come true. When we got out of the car, we found ourselves standing in front of a huge greenhouse built in 2019 in a retro industrial style, which also doubles as a café.
This place pretty much looks better than every daylight studio I’ve seen so far in Europe. At this location natural light meets creativity and with a kick for retro details. For creatives all around Austria, this is one of those photo spots you should better see at least once in your lifetime. Indoor as well as outdoor, you’ll find exciting opportunities for your images.
